We believe the concept of public open spaces in post-COVID era should not only consists of the basic gathering, resting & recreational purpose, but also educational with the sensitivity of 1. The current global and regional social background, 2. The contextual and spiritual lineage of the garden, and 3. The way to convey information.

The design idea is to reinvent used wine bottle with different parts and treatments to create various sensational experience and form different type and size of open spaces for various uses. Therefore, the proposal is named as “Upcyclescape”.

The long and narrow site naturally inspire an interesting route from east to west with zones of different sensational installation, while thesecondary paths are created to allow better permeability between north and south.

Following the concept of “A promenade for All” of Kwun Tong Promenade for the existing redevelopment, the design provides vibrant sensational experience for the public via the use of recycled material to arouse public’s awareness of upcycle.

1. 當前全球和區域的社會背景，

2. 保留感觀花園原有功能，以及

3. 傳達基本功能以外的信息。

新感官花園設計由可持續發展(環境保護)角度出發, 應用“升級再造（upcycle）”概念, 以回收玻璃材料打造多個具特式的感官裝置及不同大小的活動場地。因此,新感官花園設計命名(upcyclescape)。

以一條東西向的主路線連繫起來貫穿狹長的場地。公眾遊走其中, 可體驗透過不同的人類感觀與感觀裝置和公共空間產生互動, 從而留下深刻的印象, 與現狀公園的設計完美呼應。

配合觀塘海濱花園–所有人的海濱, 帯來多一個具獨特色的景觀空間豐富公眾感觀體驗及喚起公眾對＂升級再造（upcycle）＂的認識。
