Design Director
Kenneth WONG
Kenneth has a diverse cultural background and working experience in Hong Kong (China), Tokyo(Japan) and Basel (Switzerland), for local and world architecture masters of Herzog & de Meuron, Toyo Ito, Kengo Kuma, Rocco Yim and AGC Design and for a global high-end lifestyle brand operator K11 Concepts Limited for couples of signature projects (e.g. Tai Kwun (HK), Central Market (HK) and K11 ECOAST (shenzhen) etc.) With such diverse practical experience, Kenneth has developed his passion and constant awareness of the conceptual precision, elemental simplicity, exquisite detailing, craftsmanship and project management.
As a founding member of YARD ARCHITECTURE LIMITED, a registered architect and a senior lecture at Chu Hai College of Higher Education, Kenneth has rich experience for cultural and commercial projects. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he was awarded with Tun Tan Cheng Lock Scholarship in Architecture by National University of Singapore for his thesis research on urban river regeneration in SE Asian Cities and awarded with Fontainebleau School International Summer Program scholarship by HKIA. His research was invited for a solo exhibition at The Tun Tan Cheng Lock Centre in Malacca, Malaysia. After graduation, Kenneth was selected to enter the Architectural Design Internship Programme by The Wharf ArchDesign Resource Trust (the WHART) of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited.
Kenneth took part in the ARCASIA Travel Prize 2018 that explored the possibility of the translation of the Japanese tradition wooden joinery into the modern design with contemporary technology and design approach, the HKIA Tokyo exhibition (more than high-rise) that explored Hong Kong through architecture in 2019, The 17th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition in collaboration with Wharf Holdings and Savannah College of Art and Design, Hong Kong and entered a Platinum award proposal of wooden bench furniture design for the MUSE Design Awards 2020. Kenneth’s Upcyclescape proposal was awarded the first prize of Design Competition for Transformation at Sensory Garden at Kwun Tong Promenade in 2022.

Kei NGAN
Kei has developed his passion in architecture & local culture since young. He has been in the architecture & real estate development industries in both Hong Kong and Mainland China for more than 10 years, most notably with his previous experience in architectural practice Aedas, real estate developer Vanke and as general manager in PY real estate limited.
As a founding member of YARD ARCHITECTURE LIMITED, a registered architect of Hong Kong as well as a developer in both Hong Kong and China, Kei is backed by diversity of experience of architectural design & practice as well as the full range commercial experience of real estate development across the Greater Bay Area.
As an architect, he has been involved in award-winning projects such as the Forum in Exchange Square in Central and working with clients such as Hong Kong Land and the Links. His competition proposal “Upcyclescape” with Kenneth was awarded the first prize of Design Competition for Transformation at Sensory Garden at Kwun Tong Promenade in 2022 and will get built in 2023. As a developer, he has accomplished two residential projects in Big Bay Area, numbers of land acquisition, as well as currently developing a residential project in Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
